Prospective Sources of High-Energy Cosmic Neutrinos

For the first time since the discovery of high-energy cosmic neutrino flux, signs of anisotropy are emerging in the arrival direction of high-energy neutrinos detected by the IceCube Neutrino Observatory. In this talk, I will review recent developments in the search for the origin of high-energy neutrinos and present the prospects for the identification of neutrino emission from potential Galactic and extragalactic sources in current and future neutrino telescopes.
