Bohr Centennial: New Fronties in Physics 2nd - 4th of March 20222
The Niels Bohr Institute will begin the official celebration with a scientific conference 2nd - 4th March 2022. The conference will centre on the groundbreaking fields of research housed at the Niels Bohr Institute and will therefore have a broad focus on research. Furthermore, the focus will also be on the innovative international research environment, which in many ways touches upon the great challenges of the 21st century.
International conference: Crossing the Disciplinary Boundaries of Physics
The Niels Bohr Archive will be at the forefront of this international conference, which will form the basis of a debate about the interdisciplinarity of physics in the past and the future by focusing on the boarders between physics and the health disciplines.
During the conference, there will also be a large arrangement open to the public, where the highlights of the conference will be presented.
The conference is a cooperation between the Niels Bohr Archives, The Niels Bohr International Academy, and the Niels Bohr Institute.
The conference will be held in August 2022.
International Conference: An Open World
The Niels Bohr Institute will start preparations to gather international scientific researchers and decision-makers for a one-day conference in the spirit of Niels Bohr. The themes are open access to information, and scientific collaboration across continents and nations to solve global challenges that the world is facing.
The conference will be held in November 2022.
International Conference for Physics Students 2021 (ICPS)
The International Association of Physics Students (IAPS) is an association of physics students and student societies from around the globe, working to promote peaceful collaborations amongst them. In 2021, their annual meeting will be transmitted from the Niels Bohr Institute.
The local organizing committee for ICPS is made up of a group of students from the Niels Bohr Institute.
The conference will be online in August 2021. More about IAPA here >>
