Scientific pre-X-Mas present from the Niels Bohr Institute to 70,000 children

The book “Niels Bohr – Denmark’s greatest scientist” has been has distributed to 70,000 children in the 4th grade across the country.

The purpose of the book is to put the spotlight on Niels Bohr in connection with the 100th anniversary for the inauguration of the institute in 1921, and the fact that Niels Bohr was awarded the first Nobel prize for Denmark in 1922.

Augustinus fonden and Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond.Additionally, the aspiration is to inspire children to understand the importance of science and the fact that a discovery 100 years ago very much affects our daily lives today.

The book is the result of a collaboration between Energimuseet and the publisher: Forlaget Epsilon. The project is supported by Augustinus fonden and Aage og Johanne Louis-Hansens Fond.
