Welcome to 142 new physics students
We are pleased to welcome everyone with an introduction program consisting of a voluntary kickstart course, welcome days on campus and a cabin trip.
This year we have admitted 142 new B.Sc. students in physics.
Both study environment and the introduction programme at physics are characterized by a high degree of inclusion and openess. Everyone should feel welcome, whether they need social activities or calm timeouts.
At NBI we have a close collaboration between employees and tutors. Together, we help the new students with everything from finding their way around campus to forming study groups. The tutors have prepared a study start rich in academic and social content to ensure that all new students are well integrated in the programme and feel at home right from the beginning.
There was no grade point average restriction for the study this year, however we have admitted slightly more students. About 30% of the new students are women, and about 94% have physics as their first priority.
Furthermore, we have admitted 106 M.Sc. students, both Danish and international.
