Physics of Future e+e− Colliders
Abstract: The physics case for an e+e− Higgs Factory is strong, and it has been identified as the highest-priority next collider in the particle physics community to study the Higgs properties in great detail.
We are now 10 years on from the Higgs discovery and have reached a mature stage in planning such a project. There are several proposals on the table with varying physics programmes, putting different emphasis at lower and higher energies.
This talk will address a few key elements of the physics case, provide an overview of the complicated landscape of future colliders and their physics reach in the Higgs sector and beyond, as well as address the path to a future Higgs Factory.
