Titel: Electronic structures on the boundary

Abstract: This project seeks to create an understanding of various methods used to describe the electronic distribution of states on the boundary. For this, the iterative and highly convergent "Sancho" method is derived in order to understand its underlying assumptions.

Ways of using the iterative method is shown, so that it becomes clear, it is usable for any chain, square or cubic lattice with  2nd quantization Hamiltonian.

There will be a focus on non-trivial p-wave superconductors and Chern insulators, where from it is looked upon, if the iterative method depicts the surface properties of these models well.

The iterative method is then compared to another, already established, T-matrix method, by comparing their assumptions and what makes the two methods different.
