Abstract 

Title: "Neutrinos in collapsars"

Neutrinos, though interacting weakly and having a small mass, can have an important role in extreme astrophysical environments. The thesis probes flavor conversion of neutrinos in a collapsing star. Starting from the standard model description with neutrino oscillation in vacuum and in dense media, by looking into neutrino interactions with matter.
