Informal seminar by Hans Kristensen, Federation of American Scientists
Informal presentation and discussion on the present state of nuclear weapon arsenals
Hans Kristensen is Director of the Nuclear Information Project at the Federation of American Scientists in Washington DC. He is an international authority on national nuclear arsenals, and for many years has been lead author of the Nuclear Weapons Notebook, the go-to source for information on nuclear armaments.
An example of recent work by him and his team is the discovery of a previously unknown missile field in China from public satellite imagery.
Hans is in Denmark in connection with a seminar at the Center for Military Studies at the University of Copenhagen this Friday, and we are fortunate that he has agreed to a separate event on Thursday, which will consist of a presentation lasting about half an hour followed by discussion.
All are welcome!
