Science film: Universe Of Physics 1-4
The Universe Of Physics is the name of a series of science TV programmes from the Niels Bohr Institute.
The programmes are a dizzying journey into the universe of atomic physics, where the engaging host Troels Peterson, who is a physicist himself, brings physics to life and shows and explains how everything works and fits together.
Troels C. Petersen studied physics at the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen and received his degree in 2001. He received his PhD in particle physics from the Laboratoire de l’Accélérateur Linéaire, LAL in Paris and he has since worked in San Francisco, at Sidney University in Australia and worked at CERN in Switzerland for two years. He now works as an associate professor at the Discovery Center at the Niels Bohr Institute and researches the origin of the universe’s mysterious dark matter with the experiments at CERN’s LHC accelerator.
The programmes can be used in teaching in primary and secondary schools. Viewers are guided through the world of science and gain a much greater understanding of physics concepts.
