As part of the [Universal Biology Group](https://nbi.ku.dk/english/research/biocomplexity/universal-biology-group/), I focus on modelling complex biological phenomena across several length scales. In particular, I’m interested in the role of spatial structure on biophysical systems.

My current work is on soil, investigating how the soil microbiome can affect the physical structure and properties of soil, while the soil structure simultaneously helps the microbiome survive.
