Professor of theoretical condensed matter physics. Karsten Flensberg is currently the director of the Center of Quantum Devices (QDev). His research focuses on quantum effect in electron transport in condensed matter devices and in quantum information processing systems. In recent years, the main subject has been topological superconductors, superconductor-semiconductor hybrids, and Majorana bound states.
He is part of the condensed matter theory group (CMT) at NBI.
