How do few "anti-establishment" individuals ensure the success of an anti-establishment candidate in an election? What do patterns in oscillating, coupled stem cells tell us about the formation of vertebrae in mice? My research focuses on complex phenomena in biological and social systems. I attempt to answer questions through extensive computer simulations and analytical methods.
