Title: Topological Stars and Magnetic Black Holes
Abstract: Some theoretical paradigms predict fundamental gravitationally compact objects other than black holes. In the context of string theory, these are asymptotically flat, horizonless smooth solutions of well defined theories. They give raise to the notion of topological star, which are supported by nontrivial topologies determined by magnetic charges. In this talk I will review some works in the last two years, as well as some ongoing ones, about the gravitational wave and radiative phenomenology of magnetically charged compact objects, including black holes and topological stars
