Title: From Bulk to Brane: Quantum Black Holes via Holography

AbstractIn this talk, I will explore how braneworld holography provides a unified framework to study the thermodynamics and quantum structure of black holes. On the one hand, the braneworld scenario offers a natural setting for extended black hole thermodynamics, where the cosmological constant becomes a dynamical quantity associated with variations in the brane tension. On the other hand, the black hole solution on the (2+1)-dimensional brane — the quantum BTZ (qBTZ) — serves as an exact and tractable model for analyzing semiclassical backreaction and quantum geometric inequalities, such as the Penrose inequality and its connection to cosmic censorship.
