Title: Emergent cosmology from quantum gravity
Abstract: I discuss the extraction of cosmological dynamics, for both background geometry and perturbations, from the group field theory formalism for quantum gravity. This emergent cosmology presents a number of physically interesting features, including a quantum bounce replacing the cosmological singularity, a late-time acceleration of purely quantum gravity origin, and an effective dynamics for cosmological perturbations with several aspects of potential interest for quantum gravity phenomenology.I also outline the conceptual framework informing the derivation of cosmological dynamics, as well as the key aspects of the group field theory formalism for quantum gravity in which this derivation is performed, and conclude with a brief discussion of the many open issues left to be tackled in this context.
