N2 - This research has revealed an interesting perspective on student’s learning processes thatcould be elaborated into a more general contribution to the discussion about the future ofhigher education. Innovation and entrepreneurship education seems to provide an opportunityfor students to reflect upon their practical learning processes that have impact on identitybuilding, competence development, and knowledge progression.The purpose of the paper is to describe and discuss how these abovementioned perspectivescan provide the research field with a supplementary conceptual development of student Bildungthat addresses the role of teaching innovation and entrepreneurship as well as how toengage students in their own learning processes at the universities.
