Iconography and Costume from the Late Iron Age in Scandinavia

In this paper, new ways of interpreting and evaluating costume are introduced through the analysis of
iconographic sources, among others gold sheets from the Late Iron Age in Scandinavia. These sources
provide information about prehistoric attitudes towards body and dress.
