Iris Fernandes
Guest researcher, Postdoc
My scientific activities involve applied geophysics in different areas using computational modelling for geophysical mapping and geological exploration. My work includes basic and applied research, such as subsurface and surface imaging, planetary physics, geological imaging, uncertainty quantification, and analysis. My main contributions have been in the development of methods for quantifying uncertainties in data acquisition of the subsurface, and the upscaling of imagery resolutions on the Moon's surface. Currently working on reflectance models of the surface of Mars.
