N2 - The workshop - relating to the symposium topics of “Data stewardship competences, skills and training” and “data stewardship career profiles and development” - will bring together national, European and disciplinary initiatives and projects that work on the development of RDM-related competence frameworks and education and training actions for FAIR research data management (FAIRsFAIR, EOSC Working Group Training & Skills, ELIXIR, Danish National Forum for Data Management (DM Forum). Building on the preliminary work of these initiatives, the workshops aims to:- share experiences in the development of RDM-related competence frameworks (e.g. analytical approach, elements) and their translation into educational practice.- build consensus and common understanding across main stakeholders on skills and curricula for FAIR data management and approaches to teach them/include in higher education curricula.- collect opinions and examples of current practices and experience on teaching FAIR data management in university curricula and postgraduate continuous education.- present and discuss the first elements of a “FAIR for Higher Education” framework, currently under development by the FAIRsFAIR project.
