- Abstract Mikele Schultz-Knudsen - Mosques Families and Islamic Law
250 KB, PDF document
My abstract and my talk is based on a review of over 200 Danish court decisions, which all contain elements of Islamic law or other Muslim practices. I have analyzed the cases, how often they arise, and their frequency across different legal areas. Based on this, I conclude which challenges it presents for Danish lawyers and judges.
