On demand generation of a cluster-state of indistinguishable and entangled multi-photons
We use periodic excitation of a semiconductor quantum-dot-confined charge carrier to demonstrate gigahertz rate deterministic generation of long strings of indistinguishable polarization entangled photons in a cluster state. The entanglement characteristic length is larger than 10 consecutive photons.
