Optical quantum information processing at Cisco

Future communication systems equipped with quantum networks open new horizons in several technology domains such as computing, secure communication, and sensing. In this talk, I give an overview of quantum research activities at Cisco. In particular, I will present our recent theory projects on two aspects of quantum networks:

• Quantum error correction: All-photonic one-way quantum repeaters (arXiv: 10071),
• Multi-qubit sources: Modular architectures to deterministically generate photonic graph states (arXiv: 11307).
