I am a Professor of Theoretical Astrophysics and the leader of the Theoretical Astrophysics Group at the Niels Bohr International Academy in the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen. Before coming to Denmark, I was a member of the Astrophysics Group in the School of Natural Sciences at theInstitute for Advanced Study in Princeton. I obtained my PhD as a Member of the Theoretical Astrophysics Program at the Astronomy and Physics Departments at the University of Arizona. I started my career at the Facultad de Ciencias Astronomicas y Geofisicas at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata.
