N2 - According to Wheeler, the gravitational collapse is the “greatest crisis in Physics of all time”. In this work the structure of the singularity produced by a collapse of a null-fluid will be discussed in the framework of Asymptotically Safe (AS) Gravity. Under the assumption of spherical symmetry, it will be shown that the generic singularity arising in the collapse of a null-dust is spacelike and “whimper”, following the Tipler classification, allowing in principle an extension of the spacetime across the singularity.
