Title: Non-AdS Higher Spin Gravity
Abstract: The holographic principle is believed to be a key element in the search for a fundamental quantum gravitational theory. It found a concrete realization in the AdS/CFT correspondence but in principle, neither AdS spacetimes nor CFTs are necessary for the holographic principle to be true and it is interesting to ask if there are more general lessons for quantum gravity. One interesting testing ground for a more general correspondence is three-dimensional higher spin gravity. I will show how non-AdS higher spin theories can be constructed. Specifically, I want to discuss how possible interesting non-AdS theories can be classified and I propose an action for higher spin Carroll and higher spin Galilean gravity.
