Title: Scattering in N=4 super-Yang-Mills and N=8 supergravity

Abstract:

In this talk, I will review some of the recent developments in the study of scattering amplitudes in N=4 sYM and N=8 sugra at the integrand level. Starting from the planar limit of the Yang-Mills theory, we have accumulated compelling evidence that many of the remarkable properties, such as dlog forms and the amplituhedron construction of Arkani-Hamed and Trnka, might extend beyond the planar limit.  This gives us a first hint at the possibility to find a reformulation of perturbative quantum field theory in terms of a  geometric language for more general QFTs. I am going to mention some ongoing work that explores some practical implications of dlog forms of integrands for the analysis of Feynman integrals.
