Title: Higgs Cosmology: implications of the Higgs for the early Universe

Abstract: I will discuss some of the consequences arising when we take into account the existence, and hence the presence, of the Standard Model Higgs during Inflation. In particular, I will derive stringent constraints on the couplings of the Higgs to the inflationary and gravitational sectors. I will also discuss the circumstances under which the Higgs can be resposible for the origin of the Standard Model species required by the 'hot Big Bang' paradigm. If there is enough time, I will also discuss the implications of all this for primordial gravitational waves.
