Title: Decomposing quantum field theory

Abstract: Perturbative quantum field theory (pQFT) is an algebraic theory. Following ideas which go back to Grothendieck and were recently developed by Francis Brown I give an introduction into the underlying concepts of algebraic integration and the Galois coaction.
I will explain why these concepts may prove particularly useful in understanding pQFT.
