Title: Amplitudes for Classical Solutions

Abstract: Scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory have surprising properties, and are often simpler than expected. But as amplitudes fully describe quantum scattering dynamics, their properties must be reflected in certain aspects of classical field theory. In this talk I was describe how straightforward properties of amplitudes lead to new insights into classical gravitational dynamics.
