Title: Why Einstein-Cartan theory can be a new GR?
Abstract:
The gravitational force can be obtained by gauging the Poincaré group. The resulting theory is known as Einstein-Cartan (-Sciama-Kibble) gravity. In the absence of matter, it is indistinguishable from general relativity. The situation changes when the matter is considered. In this talk, I will discuss the Einstein-Cartan description of gravity and the way how it can address cosmological puzzles, such as inflation and dark matter. Based on
