A cosmic coincidence
In 1979, a PhD student from Japan visited Europe. One of the memorable stops in the trip was the sojourn at the Niels Bohr Institute. Many years later — 43 years later, to be exact — that student, now Professor Emeritus Kei-ichi Maeda returned to Copenhagen, this time for a two-week visit to the Strong group.
Then, a happy coincidence: in the shelves at his assigned office at the NBI, Prof. Maeda found a Nordita Report dated from 1979. On page 39, the written record of first visit to Copenhagen!
