Marina De Amicis visits IFAE

Last week, Marina De Amicis, one of our Strong PhD students, visited IFAE, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). While she was there, she worked with Professor Diego Blas on a project that aims to investigate the effect of the stochastic background of gravitational waves on the rotation of pulsars, a project that she presented in a talk to the IFAE theoretical division.

She also had the opportunity to discuss exciting new ideas with Diego, Rodrigo Vicente and Silvia Gasparotto, IFAE gravity group. In the picture, you can see them about to enjoy a dinner of typical Spanish dishes!
