Strong art residency: selected artists

Art and science are different ways of expressing our human curiosity and our will to understand the cosmos. This often means dealing with the unknown. The Strong team at the Niels Bohr Institute invited proposals for artist residencies of up to 3 months, involving the science of the Strong group. We received hundreds of exciting proposals, shortlisted seven, and offered a residency to these three talented artists:

International jury: The screening of proposals was done by Strong group members together with an international jury consisting of:

Réka Tóth-Vásárhelyi, Art teacher, creative artist, Kokeshi, Japanese wooden doll artist
