Visit by PhD student David Figueruelo

David Figueruelo, PhD student at Universidad de Salamanca, visited Assistant Professor in the Strong Group, José Maria Ezquiaga from February 11, 2023 to March 11, 2023.

During his visit, they explored how to probe the large scale structure of the universe with gravitational waves. In particular, they looked at the angular distribution of binary black holes in the sky and how this cross-correlate with the distribution of galaxies. This line of research could shed light on the astrophysical origin of the observed black holes.
