Simulating the Future through Science Fiction
Jaime Redondo-Yuste recently was part of the winning team of the PSI 15th Anniversary Reunion Pitch Grant. The event took place at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, in Waterloo (Canada), while celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Perimeter Scholars International Masters program, that Jaime graduated from in 2022. This grant of 10,000$ kindly donated by Two Small Fish Ventures will allow the team (composed of PhD students in Harvard, MIT, University of Colorado, the Leibniz University and the Niels Bohr Institute) to fund their outreach project "Simulating the Future through Science Fiction". This project aims to combine artistic expression and scientific outreach to reach audiences beyond the scope of traditional outreach platforms and communicate the possibilities, but also the challenges and uncertainties that theoretical research brings forward.
